Project Partners
We are proud to have a number of incredible partners that have helped make our river conservation program a success. Their support has allowed us to expand and improve our efforts to protect the Mosselbank River. We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to all of our partners for their invaluable contributions.
The MRCT collaborates with various departments in City of Cape Town to assist them with education, reporting and cleansing.
As local developer of Greenville and initial project manager of the EE Programme, we will continue to collaborate with them to ensure the Mosselbank River is a valuable asset to the area.
Shoprite Act for Change supports our clean-up days and events by sponsoring snacks, cooldrinks, sun hats and T-shirts.
PlasticsSA support our annual World Clean-up Day events by sponsoring bags, gloves, water and networking opportunities.
VULA is contracted by the developer to roll-out the rehabilitation implementation but goes beyond their duty to support and educate the volunteers about conservation.
Pam Golding Durbanville and Welgemoed has supported numerous project in a short period and we are grateful to their support and donation of new MRCT T-shirts.
The department assist us with operational requirement such as litter pickers and boots, as well as workshops on water use management and importance of wetlands.
Local Newspapers
We have built a positive relationship with both the Tygerburger and Northern News who assist us to spread the news of our projects and impacts in the community.
Every year we partner with Wonlife for our annual Mandela Day Event, cleaning the Mosselbank River and working in out community food garden.

The MRCT has taken hands with CRDC and their “The Bag that Builds” project whereby the team will collect all the non-recyclable materials which is used to make their Resin8 product, making sure less litter ends up in out landfills.
Fisantekraal Community Based Organisations
We take hands with various NGO’s, schools, and businesses in the area. Depending on the need, a project or event will be workshopped and implemented.
Durbanville and Fisantekraal Lions Club
As part of their Environmental pillar, the Lions Club supports our clean-ups and environmental events.
